Shipping & Delivery

Last updated: 15 July 2026 · We ship across India

Your mirror doesn't sit in a warehouse waiting for you — it's made after you order it. That means two clocks run before it arrives: the time we take to make it, and the time the courier takes to bring it. Here's how both work.

How long it takes

Clock one
Production
2–10 business days

From order confirmation to the piece leaving our Delhi workshop — cutting, finishing, assembly, quality check, and packing.

Clock two
Transit
3–7 business days

From dispatch to your door, handled by our courier partners. Varies by destination — see the table in section 4.

Total expected time from order to delivery: 5–17 business days. Custom and bespoke pieces take longer — see section 3.

01

Where we ship

We ship across India, to all serviceable pin codes covered by our courier partners. Everything is dispatched from our own workshop in Delhi.

A small number of remote or restricted pin codes may not be serviceable, or may require additional transit time. If your pin code can't be served, we'll contact you promptly to arrange an alternative or a full refund.

We do not currently ship internationally. For overseas or export enquiries, please get in touch and we'll tell you what's possible.

02

Production time

Artessa mirrors are made, not sourced. Almost nothing we sell is picked off a shelf — your piece is manufactured in our workshop after your order is confirmed. Production time is therefore part of your delivery timeline, not an exception to it.

  • Standard catalogue pieces — 2–10 business days from order confirmation to dispatch.
  • Made-to-order sizes or finishes — 2–10 business days.
  • Custom & bespoke commissions — see section 3.

Production time is counted in business days, excluding Sundays and public holidays. It begins when your order is confirmed and payment is received — and for custom work, when you approve the final specification.

Why this matters. Because your piece is made for you, the clock starts at confirmation rather than at dispatch. We'd rather tell you this clearly up front than have it come as a surprise later.
03

Custom & bespoke orders

Custom sizes, finishes, and commissioned pieces follow their own timeline, which we confirm in your quotation before production begins. As a guide, allow 2–10 business days from specification approval to dispatch.

The clock starts when you approve the final specification — not when the order is first placed. If a specification changes after approval, the timeline resets from the date of the revised approval.

04

Transit time

Once your piece leaves our workshop, transit time depends on where it's going. These are typical windows from dispatch, not from order:

DestinationTypical transit
Delhi NCRSame day as dispatch
Metro cities3–5 business days
Other cities & towns5–7 business days
Remote & hill regions, North-East5–7 business days

These are good-faith estimates based on our courier partners' typical performance, not guarantees. Weather, festivals, regional disruptions, and courier backlogs can extend them.

05

Shipping charges

Shipping charges, where applicable, are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your piece and your delivery pin code. The exact amount is always shown before you confirm your order — you'll never be charged a delivery fee you haven't seen.

  • Standard shipping — Free across India, included on every order.
  • Free shipping — Applies to all orders — no minimum.
  • Large or oversized pieces — may attract additional freight charges, shown at checkout or quoted separately.
  • Remote pin codes — may attract a surcharge, shown at checkout.

Shipping charges are inclusive of GST as indicated at checkout.

06

Courier partners

We work with established logistics partners including Delhivery, Blue Dart, and DTDC, and select the partner best suited to your piece's size and destination. Large or fragile items may go by surface freight rather than express courier.

We choose the carrier — it isn't selectable at checkout. If you have a specific carrier requirement, particularly for a trade or site delivery, contact us before ordering and we'll do what we can.

07

Tracking your order

You'll hear from us at the points that matter — order confirmation, and again when your piece is dispatched, with a tracking number and carrier details. Updates are sent by email and, where you've opted in, WhatsApp.

You can also follow your order on our Track Your Order page at any time.

Tracking information is provided by the courier and can take up to 24 hours to become active after dispatch. If tracking hasn't updated in 48 hours, write to us and we'll chase it.

08

Packaging

Mirrors are fragile, and we pack accordingly — protective corner reinforcement, cushioning, and rigid outer packaging designed for transit. Every piece is quality-checked and photographed before it's packed.

Please keep the original packaging until you've inspected your piece and are satisfied with it. If a replacement or warranty claim becomes necessary, the original packaging makes the process considerably easier.

09

Receiving your delivery

A few minutes at the doorstep saves a great deal of trouble later:

  • Check the outer packaging before you sign. If it's visibly crushed, torn, or damaged, note this with the delivery agent on the proof of delivery, or refuse the delivery.
  • Unbox promptly — ideally within 24 hours — and inspect the piece.
  • Film or photograph the unboxing if you can. It's the single most useful thing you can do if something has gone wrong in transit.
  • Someone must be available to receive the delivery. Couriers typically make three attempts.
10

Damaged in transit

If your piece arrives damaged, we'll put it right. Report it to us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of the piece and its packaging, and we'll arrange a repair, replacement, or store credit as set out in our Refunds & Cancellations Policy.

Transit damage is our problem to solve, not yours to absorb. Report it promptly with photographs and we'll take it from there.
11

Delays

Production and delivery timelines are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Occasionally a piece takes longer — a material issue, a quality check that sends a piece back to the bench, or a courier disruption.

If your order is going to be materially delayed beyond the window we quoted, we'll tell you — proactively, with a revised date, rather than waiting for you to ask. Where a delay is substantial and you no longer want to wait, we'll work with you on a fair resolution in line with our Refunds & Cancellations Policy and your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

We're not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, strikes, courier disruption, or government action.

12

Failed & undeliverable orders

If a delivery fails because the address was incorrect or incomplete, or because nobody was available across the courier's delivery attempts, the piece is returned to our workshop.

We'll contact you to arrange re-delivery. Because your piece was made for you, we can't simply cancel it back into stock — but re-delivery charges may apply, and repeated failed attempts may require the shipping cost to be paid again before we send it out.

13

Address changes

Need to change your delivery address? Tell us as soon as possible. We can usually update it any time before dispatch. Once a piece has left the workshop, we'll try to redirect it, but this depends on the courier and isn't always possible — and may attract a charge.

Please double-check your address and phone number at checkout. Most delivery problems start there.

14

Installation

Standard delivery is to your door. It does not include unpacking, mounting, wiring, or removal of packaging.

Where installation is available on orders above ₹45,000, it's quoted separately. If you've booked installation, please ensure safe access to the site and a suitable wall. Additional charges may apply for wall types, heights, or access conditions beyond the standard scope.

Lit mirrors should be connected by a qualified electrician. Installation by an unqualified third party may affect your warranty.

15

Trade & bulk orders

Trade, hospitality, and bulk orders follow the timelines and delivery terms agreed in your quotation, which take precedence over the standard windows on this page. Site deliveries, phased dispatch, and scheduled delivery windows can usually be arranged — talk to us early, and we'll build it into the schedule. See our Trade portal.
