LED Mirror Prices in India: What Are You Paying For?

GlowZen Backlit LED mirror by Artessa — LED mirror price India

An LED mirror can be the finishing detail in a bathroom renovation, but its price deserves attention before the tiles and electrical points are finalised. Two mirrors may look almost identical in a photograph while offering different dimensions, light distribution, controls and frame construction. The useful comparison begins with what arrives at your home and how it will work above your basin.

If you are checking LED mirror prices in India, start by separating the cost of the mirror from the cost of completing the installation. Then compare products at the size you actually need. A lower starting price means little if that variant is too small for your vanity.

Here is how to read the numbers, using examples from Artessa’s catalogue, and decide where additional spending makes sense.

What do Artessa LED mirrors cost?

The following listed variant prices were checked on 7 September 2026. They are a snapshot of Artessa’s catalogue, not an estimate of the entire Indian market. Check the selected variant and final order total before purchasing; optional changes and installation may affect your overall budget.

Mirror Listed variant Listed price
GlowZen 45 × 60 cm, Vertical ₹4,999
Brillar 60 × 60 cm ₹5,499
Twixor 45H × 60W cm ₹6,499
Luminex 60W × 60H cm ₹6,999
Shadex 60H × 45W cm ₹7,999

These examples show why a single “LED mirror price” can be misleading. The selection includes different shapes and constructions. Brillar and Luminex have the same listed overall dimensions, but that does not establish that their lighting arrangements or other specifications are identical. GlowZen and Shadex also require more than a size comparison: Shadex’s description identifies an aluminium frame and front and back lighting.

Treat the table as a shortlist to investigate, rather than a ranking from lowest to highest value.

Size changes more than the amount of glass

A larger mirror changes its presence in the room, its handling requirements and the space available for its construction. It may also require different packaging and mounting arrangements. This is why scaling up does not necessarily produce a price that follows a simple rate per square foot.

Within the same range, the difference is easier to see. GlowZen’s listed 45 × 60 cm Vertical variant is ₹4,999, while its 50 × 70 cm Vertical variant is ₹6,999. Both prices were checked on the same date. The larger option may be more appropriate above your basin, but paying the difference only makes sense if the additional size improves the fit.

Before choosing, mark the proposed outline on the wall with removable tape. Include the tap, backsplash, nearby switchboard and any wall lights. A mirror that looks generous on a product page can feel cramped once it shares a wall with these elements.

Light direction is a buying decision

Backlighting creates a glow behind the mirror. It can give a bathroom a softer evening atmosphere and make the outline stand out against the wall. That visual effect is different from light directed towards your face.

If the mirror is mainly for shaving, skincare or makeup, assess the lighting where you will stand. A beautiful halo does not, by itself, establish that you have enough useful face lighting. You may prefer front lighting, a combined arrangement, or separate vanity lights alongside a backlit mirror.

Ask for an image or demonstration that shows the reflection and surrounding room under ordinary conditions. A dark product photograph can make a modest light source appear dramatic without showing how comfortable it is for a morning routine.

The practical question is whether the mirror complements your existing lighting or must provide the main light for grooming. That answer should guide your spending before decorative extras do.

Controls should earn their place in the budget

Touch controls, adjustable brightness and selectable light colours can make daily use more convenient. However, a touch sensor does not automatically mean that every one of these functions is included.

GlowZen’s current description, for example, mentions three lighting temperatures and touch-controlled brightness adjustment. For any shortlisted model, confirm what a tap does, what a longer touch does, and whether settings remain after the wall switch is turned off. These are separate functions.

Also distinguish light colour from brightness. A warmer or cooler setting changes the appearance of the light; dimming changes its level. Neither feature alone proves accurate colour rendering. For colour-sensitive makeup work, ask for documented lighting information and evaluate the light in use.

Pay for controls that match your routine. Someone who uses one setting every morning may value straightforward operation more than additional modes.

Is a defogger included in the quoted price?

A defogger warms an area of the mirror to help reduce condensation there. Its usefulness depends on the heated area, the bathroom conditions and how it is operated. It should not be treated as a substitute for bathroom ventilation.

Several Artessa LED product descriptions mention defoggers, but the order confirmation should still identify what is included in your chosen configuration. Ask how the defogger is activated, whether it has a separate control, and which part of the mirror it is intended to clear.

This matters when comparing a standard product with a customised version. An attractive base price is not a complete quotation if the configuration you want requires an additional feature or different internal arrangement.

Frame construction affects the comparison

A frameless mirror and a framed mirror can suit the same bathroom while producing very different visual effects. The frameless option lets the glass outline lead. A visible frame adds a border that can connect with taps, handles or other fittings.

Shadex’s aluminium frame is a specific construction detail worth considering if you want that outlined appearance. It does not mean every metal frame or every finish performs identically in a bathroom. Ask about the selected finish, care instructions and suitability for the intended position.

Look at side views as well as front views. Frame depth and the space behind an illuminated mirror can affect how far it projects from the wall. That detail is especially useful above a shallow basin or beside a tall cabinet.

Budget for a finished installation

Before approving the purchase, establish whether the price covers delivery, the mounting system, optional features and any installation service. Ask who will prepare the electrical connection and who will mount the mirror. Electrical work should be handled by a qualified professional using the product’s instructions.

For a renovation, share the mirror drawing with the electrician before wall finishes are completed. For an existing bathroom, send a photograph of the wall and electrical point when requesting advice. Discovering that the connection is in the wrong place after delivery can add avoidable work.

Ask about after-sales support in equally concrete terms: which components are covered, what the applicable warranty says, and how a service request is handled. Keep the written terms with the invoice for your selected model.

Choose the specification, then compare the price

The best purchase is the mirror that fits the vanity, supports your daily routine and comes with a clear understanding of the final cost. Start with dimensions and lighting direction. Then decide whether the frame, controls and defogger justify their place in your order.

Explore Artessa’s Vanity Essentials using your required dimensions, and compare the exact variants you would actually install. If the wall needs a different size or arrangement, send the measurements through Artessa’s contact page and request a specification-led quote.
